Prime Time Club

Travel, Entertainment, Dining and Sports Events for NECU Friends*

 

NECU's "Northeast Prime Time Club" brings friends of the credit union* together for travel, good shows, good food, and good times with new friends. To join the fun...

  • You or your spouse/friend must be age 50 or older.
  • Annual club dues is $12.00 per person.
  • Membership entitles you to vote at the annual meeting and to receive information and first refusal on club trips or events.
  • Bring a friend! Guests are welcome at all functions for one time (after that, we'll ask them to officially join us and become club members).

Following is a list of proposed trips coming up. This schedule is tentative and trips may be added or deleted during the year. Please stop by the Northeast Prime Time Club office or give us a call at 603.422.9869 for further trip information.

June 16  

Kennebunkport Land and Sea Tour: A fun, exciting, historical tour to begin your summer.  We start with an on-board guide who will tell us about the Kennebunkport area, have lunch at the historic Kennebunkport Inn, followed by a 50-minute narrated boat ride.  $79.00 per person.

 

July 9th

Putney Inn, Green Mountain Flyer, Vermont Country Store: Our tour heads to Bellows Falls, VT where we board the Green Mountain Flyer to enjoy the breathtaking scenery in fully restored coaches of yester-year and narration along the way. From there we will visit the famous Vermont Country Store.  This unique store with it's penny candy, dry goods and gadgets will remind of you of your childhood.  After shopping we will head out for a late lunch at the Putney Inn, featuring both Vermont Glazed Ham and Roast Turkey.  $79.00 per person. 

 

July 18-21

The Finger Lakes of New York.  This 4-day/3-night tour is something you don't want to miss.  Visit the New York State Musuem with its 9/11 exhibit, the Salt Museum, Erie Canal Museum, Syracuse City tour and a Dinner Cruise on the Lake.  Other highlights include Fox Run Vineyards for a short walking tour and wine tasting, Sonneberg Gardens for a tour of its 40 room mansion and more.  Seven meals, admissions, dinner cruise and more included. Starting at $569.00 pp/do.

 

August 6

Martha's Vineyard: Cruise to the Island. Upon arrival you will get a two and one-half hour narrated Island tour that passes through six towns.  Lunch is included with this tour.  Later enjoy a walking tour or take time to enjoy the Flying Horse Carousel.  $110.00 per person.

 

August 18

Patriot Pride: This exciting trip brings us to Patriot Place (Gillette Stadium) in Foxborough, MA.  We start the visit to The Hall - a modern museum that takes you through the Patriots and New England Football history in a cutting edge way.  Then we have entertainment and a fantastic meal at the region's premiere venue Showcase Live!  Mark Verselli, will perform and Executive Chef Steve Morrissette prepares an exceptional meal for us.  $95.00 per person.

 

Sept 4-10

Myrtle Beach Show Trip: Our deluxe motor coach heads to Myrtle Beach for 7-days/6-nights that includes a guided tour of the City of Charleston, Brookgreen Gardens, Barefoot Landing waterfront shops and the U.S. Airborne Museum in North Carolina.  Then there are the shows and dinner at the Alabama Theatre, the Grande Cirque Show at the Palace Theater, the Carolina Opry Show and the famous Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede Dinner Show.  Includes deluxe motor coach, lodging, ten meals, show admissions, and more. Starting at $650.00 pp/do

Sept 22  Celebrate Boston - Start with a Boston City Tour that includes the Museum of Fine Arts, Public Gardens, and Swan Boat Ride. Lunch at Joe Tecce's, a great Italian restaurant in Boston's North End.  $88.00 per person.
Sept 29   North Shore Music Theater - Join us for DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS (contains adult humor).  This new musical is based on the movie starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine.  The story follows two con artists working their schemes on the French Riveria. With lots of high jinks, this is show worth seeing! Plus before the show enjoy a lunch at the Danversport Yacht Club.  $95.00 per person.
Sept 30-Oct 5 Washington, D.C. and Colonial Williamsburg.  A 6-day/5-night trip that takes in historic America.  Visit Fort McHenry National Park in Baltimore and then it is off to Washington, D.C. and a motorcoach tour viewing the Capital, White House, and many other monuments and memorials along Pennsylvania Ave.  Williamsburg includes a guided tour and free time along Duke of Glouscester Street, a full day at Busch Gardens and more.  On the way home stop at Cape May, NJ for some free time.  Just $919.00 per person.
Oct 7 Fall Foliage Day Trip - The trip begins at Smith's Country Cheese in Winchendon, MA for a tour of the cheese-making process, a cheese tasting and visit to their store.  Then it is lunch at Lilly's on the Pond restaurant.  After lunch the tour will start with a visit to the Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge, NH.  To end the day it's Red Apple Farm, which features baked goods and the opportunity to have a 30-minute hayride.  $70.00 per person.
Oct 8 - 17 Greece - A 10-day/8-night Land and Sea tour to a this popular European destination.  Four days in the ancient capital of Athens visiting the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, the Acropolis (including the Parthenon and Temple of Athena), the Presidential Palace.  Then board a ship for a 4-night cruise with stops at Rhodes, Crete, Santorini and most of the beautiful Greek Islands.  Prices begin at $1999.00 per person, airfare included.  Final payment due by July 1, 2010.
Oct 16-24 Rhine River Cruise - On this 9-day/8-night river cruise visit all the highlights of the legendary Rhine.  Including Marksburg Castle and the ruins of Heidelberg Castle.  Experience the lush landscape of the Black Forest Region and explore Amsterdam's canals and museums.  This trip includes airfare, insurance, airport transportation, twenty meals, English speaking guides and more.  Starting at $3499.00 per person.
Oct 30- Nov 12 Royal Caribbean Repositioning Cruise - Enjoy this 13-day cruise leaving Boston on the "Jewel of the Seas" and return via Fort Lauderdale.  Visit St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Curacao, Aruba, Barbados and Fort Lauderdale.  Experience sight seeing, shopping, swimming and so much during each stop.  Price includes transportation to Boston and airfaire from Fort Lauderdale.  Starting at 1399.00 per person.
