Share Draft (checking) and Share (savings) Accounts

Northeast Credit Union has joined an elite group of financial institutions that can now insure member savings accounts up to $350,000. This coverage is one of the highest level of combined federal and private savings insurance available to members.

This increased level of protection is provided through a combination of $100,000 through the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the federal government, and an additional $250,000 per member policy with Excess Share Insurance (ESI), the nation's largest private share savings insurer.
